Export the data from an SQL Server database to Oracle.
Do you need a database in Oracle with all the data from another database in SQL Server? One solution is to transfer it all manually, but it`s a much better idea to have a tool like Export Table for Oracle Standard.
The way Export Table for Oracle Standard works is the following: from the data in the original SQL Server database it generates a series of SQL instructions (of the INSERT type) that, on running, will automatically fill in the Oracle database.
The whole Export Table for Oracle Standard process is done via an assistant, making it quite easy to use. You can predefine the DSN for the database connection. You can also filter, with the WHERE clause, so it only transfers the data that match the requirements.
